Would I benefit from an 80mm MAF?

Right now I have a 76mm C&L and was wondering if I'd gain much at my hp level by switching to an 80mm. I would assume the car makes around 550-600rwhp through an AOD but hasn't been dyno'd. It runs mid 6's@103ish in the 1/8 mile at full weight w/ a 175 shot. Will the MAF even affect hp on a nitrous car since it's spraying at the intake? Anyone made the switch? Thanks.

75mm w/ Trick Flow R intake. Bennett ported stage 2 TW heads.

Then I doubt your 76mm MAF is a restriction.............

NO it is not worth the money and yuou will not gain anything. It is only 4mm your talking about.

I thought 4mm might make a big difference when it's being choked at 7000rpms at this level of hp. Everything else about the combo is pretty hardcore except the MAF, which is basically what every bolt-on car uses. Even stock 4.6's have 80mm mafs.

As a rule of thumb, the MAF s/b larger than the TB. 1mm is not enough. I would go w/ a Anderson Ford Motorsport 80mm MAF. A 75mm TB with a 80mm MAF would be ideal.

I would plan on upsizing both the MAF and TB. A 90 MM LMAF and a 75 or 80mm TB is what I recommend. Plan on getting a tune, though...
