not a mustang question but I got a new radio for my dad's '68 Jeep and it doesn't have a constant power line to the stock radio (or a ground line LOL) so what's the best way to wire one up? I'd rather not splice into the igntion, can I run a wire straight to the battery? is there anything I need to be careful of when doing that? Should I put a fuse in it? I put a 10A fuse in my '89 Jeep that came with my last radio even though my radio has a fuse built into the back of it.

Radio has two power inputs, the one from the battery keeps the correct time and station settings but the amps are off that red wire would connect to the red battery wire with a 10 AMP in-line fuse. The Accessory wire turns the radio's Amps on and that can be spliced into the wire from the ignition ON position or to the accessory fuse.
