I have a LFP Big Mouth Single Blade Throttle Body for a Lightning/Harley fitted to a Eaton M112 but would like to know if the C&L manifold for a 2005-09 4.6 mustang will fit? I.e are the oval inlets the same or very close? Not worried about engine bay clearance as gong in a spaceframe build.

Why not just use a cold air for a lightning? It wont simply bolt up and be fine because I don't believe that bend is going to put your filter in the right area. Also, I'm about 90% sure that the ovals are different sizes. You also have to get the maf on the other end and they may possibly be the same size but if not then there's another issue. If you have time you can order silicone reducers (siliconestop.com) and customize it and you should end up with something you can use.

Many thanks for ur replies, concerns dually noted! I'm not running a maf and filter is in the inner wing. Exactly as u said BryanJ I'm hoping the ovals would be close and silicon will bridge the two!

Fingers crossed and will let u know how I get on as it not a conventional build by any stretch of the imagination
