Its hard to compare that because the demon was built for a single purpose, straight line performance. The only shelbys that were built for that were the cobra jets and even they are in a different league, thats not a car thats able to be registered and driven on the street. Its an apples to oranges debate. If you would of said a hellcat it would be a better comparison.
The way I see it, a Shelby Mustang is much more valuable than a Dodge Demon, or Hellcat. Also, on Dodge's official page for the Demon, they do a lot of false advertising. Another valid point is the fact, in order for the Demon to be at its full potential, you have to practically rebuild the car. The Shelby Mustang is always at its full potential.
