Does anyone make a decent shift kit for the f150? 2002 4.6. Does Jerry Wroblewski make one? Just firmer shifts needed and I don't want to do with a chip by increasing line press.
Thx

You have a 4r70w? Find out what transmission you have and report back. I'm more than sure there is a good valve body for it.

I've read some bad things about shift kits for the 4r70w. But there is a such thing as a "J-Mod".

Do a search on here or google "4r70w j-mod". If you have the know how to do this mod it may be the cheapest and most effective route.

the "j-mod" is the cheapest, BUT easiest to mess it up

I've used both the transgo and factory tech shift kits with great success in the 4r70 transmisisons (supercharged F-150's)...

Yes, there are both complete valve body setups and kits available for this from reputable people and companies. Find one based on what Jerry said to do. Expect to pay about a hundred bucks for something decent on a kit.
