I have ran across a good deal on some afr 185s but one head has been melted .if the could be repaired what would an estimated cost be .

That can be fixed but it's a OLD set of Outlaw series heads and not worth the time or money to do the repair.

Easy fix.. but the FIX on one head may cost you more than a pair of bare heads.......

just recently had a set of BBC heads bb2's to be exact, fixed.. much worse shape than that heads.. while they were out being welded, i purchased a new set of bb3's. after i got the 2's back to our shop and done all the work to get them race ready... with a few upgrades... the 3's cost less in the end than just fixing the 2's.. but it's ok with me.. i stuck them on the backup motor and made 1800hp and change with them.

i fully expect to tourch a lot of parts anyway... high compression BBC with a 14-71 on top trying to compete with racers with way deeper pockets.
