So I snagged some really good condition 2003 style cobra wheels to put on my 94 GT and was wondering the best tires to run for the best look. I want a little wider in the back, like one size up, I’m currently at stock ride height but plan on dropping two inches in the near future. I’m also running a spacer in the back that came with the wheels, like an inch and a half, may take it off. It currently has 235/55/R17 all around

Those are only 8" wide wheels, so 275s would be pinched quite a bit. (275/40-17s are recommended for 9-11" wide wheels.) Some people don't mind that, but you'd be compromising the performance of the tire quite a bit. 245/45 or 255/45 would be the correct size.

These are the wheels off a 03 cobra there are 17/9 and came stock with what I believe to be 275/40ZR17

Those are rims that we’re available on selected GT models and 2001 Cobra.
As previously mentioned rim size is 17X8.

03-04 Cobra’s came with 17X9 rims.
