Put on the strut tower brace I painted. I am not sure how I feel about it? I only wanted to fill the holes that were already there and the brace obviously hides them. I could have filled the holes where it had been installed prior to painting the engine bay I guess...but I didn't. So instead of looking at the holes, I now look at the brace. It looks OK.

Looks great. People don't realize that even if it has some orange peel, a cut and buff will elevate even the cheapest of paint jobs.

Thanks. Yep, wetsand and buff will make a huge difference. For $350 in materials and nothing more than my time invested I can't complain.

I got the drivers door ready for paint today. My daughter helped me bolt it up and align it. Tomorrow I will finish the passengers side door and we will bolt that on. Then I will wrap the car in plastic so I can paint the doors. The door alignment is perfect.

Got the base coat on, then it started raining outside. Need to wait for the weather to dry out a little before I can clear it.
