Looking to get a set of Saleen style 17x9 and 17x10 wheels for my 87 GT. Who has wheels in that size and offset and have you had any issues? I see that the quad shock may need to be removed or flipped, rolled fenders, and an 8mm wheel spacer? Seems like a lot of work for a set of wheels. Any input would be great. Thanks!

If you think that's a lot of work, sell the car now.
lol so true

OP I’m running 17x9 +27 & 255/40 Sport Cup 2, fits fine with no fender work. My rears are 17x9 +21 255/40 and no way those would fit without a fender roll. Use an offset comparison tool to compare my specs with those SC reps.

Ha I’m not worried about the work honestly just was debating going with the 17x8 to not have issues later

So the 17X9 up front does not rub at all?

I have 17x10 in rear w/ no quad shocks but a panhard bar MT 275/40/17 and MT 17x 9 in front w/ 245/45/17. No rubbing yet

My experience with 9" wide wheels is that they always seemed to rub the stock fox front control arms at full lock for me. Fender rolling wasn't an issue in the front with 255/17/40's. I do have SN95 length rear axles so, rear fenders had to be rolled. Just my experience.
